100% conceived and constructed in NZ, Pen is both a recipe book and a reflection on Coffee Pen’s quiet evolution as a café and community. Starting with a dream and just a pen and paper, Coffee Pen has been so glad to gather a warm band of customers and collaborators.

Within these pages you will find features on some of the friends of Coffee Pen. Plus Pen comes complete with a collection of recipes from your favourite menu items, both sweet and savoury.

Pen is available as a limited edition, in limited quantities, so please be prompt in placing your orders. The estimated arrival is mid-December, ready for the holiday season.

This year has been a tough one. Even as we offer a bright spot to the rest of the world, we too have our own health and financial struggles here in Aotearoa thanks to Covid-19. This book came out of a desire to celebrate and support each other, including the creatives involved in the project.

When you order the book you are also contributing to organisations with a wider impact. We pledge 5% of sales to people affected by the pandemic. The domestic donation (2.5%) will go to Auckland City Mission and the international donation (2.5%) will go to Unicef.

Thank you all for your support. We are so excited for you to make your own creations from the recipes in Pen.
